First we will Visit St Monica’s Cathedral, one of the most breathtaking cathedrals in all of Australia with the world’s largest themed stained glass windows.
You’ll enjoy afternoon tea at the Flecker Botanical Gardens – imagine warm, fresh from the oven scones with jam and cream, and your choice of locally grown Devonshire Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate.
 
Afterwards, you’ll join a professional guided walk through the Flecker Botanical Gardens, renowned for having one of the best exhibitions in Australia of tropical plants. Wander along butterfly-lined pathways under a lush green canopy, and listen as your guide points out the various plant and wildlife along the way.
View Cairns and its panoramic hillside views from some of the most stunning vantage points and lookouts, before heading to Barron Falls for a walk at the lower section of the Barron Gorge National Park to Surprise Creek Falls.
 
Lastly, visit stunning Palm Cove and stroll along the beach, or out to the end of the jetty to watch the sunset behind the mountains. You’ll return to your accommodation at 6:00pm

Wooroonooran National Park Safari

Wooroonooran National Park offers visitors a variety of recreational opportunities. Walshs Pyramid provides a challenging hiking trail not far from Cairns, while Goldsborough Valley offers opportunities for canoeing, mountain biking, walking and camping. Josephine Falls features a cascading waterfall and the beginning of the trail up Queensland’s highest peak—Bartle Frere, while Palmerston (Doongan) is renowned for beautiful rainforest, wild rivers, steep gorges, cascading waterfalls and the Mamu Tropical Skywalk. Our specializes in traveling to lesser known, but equally magnificent regions, which means we visit areas with less crowds and have more time in each location. We offer itineraries which includes World Heritage Rainforest walks, Crocodile viewing, bird watching, swimming opportunities and always provide a delicious meal as part of our tours.
