Our lovely driver will pick you up at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel.  You can relax and use the rest of the day to explore the city in tropical Far North Queensland.

Cairns Discover Tour

Discover the vibrant history of Cairns as you immerse yourself in the rich, cultural heritage unique to Far North Queensland on your Cairns Discover tour. First, we will Visit St Monica’s Cathedral, one of the most breathtaking cathedrals in all of Australia with the world’s largest themed stained glass windows. You’ll enjoy afternoon tea at the Flecker Botanical Gardens – imagine warm, fresh-from-the-oven scones with jam and cream, and your choice of locally grown Devonshire Tea, Coffee, or Hot Chocolate. Afterward, you’ll join a professional guided walk through the Flecker Botanical Gardens, renowned for having one of the best exhibitions in Australia of tropical plants. Wander along butterfly-lined pathways under a lush green canopy, and listen as your guide points out the various plants and wildlife along the way. View Cairns and its panoramic hillside views from some of the most stunning vantage points and lookouts, before heading to Barron Falls for a walk at the lower section of the Barron Gorge National Park to Surprise Creek Falls.

Lastly, visit stunning Palm Cove and stroll along the beach, or out to the end of the jetty to watch the sunset behind the mountains. You’ll return to your accommodation at 6:00 pm
