Taipei – Sun Moon Lake


Today we will be heading to the Taiwan-round island tour in central Taipei, we will head to the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area located in the center of the island. This largest freshwater lake in Taiwan is divided into two parts resembling the sun and crescent moon, with the surrounding area being the home of the indigenous Thao people. Enjoy a bus tour of the lake after lunch, visiting popular sites like the Ita Thao indigenous village and several prominent landmarks, including the Ci’en Pagoda, Xuanzang Temple, and Wenwu Temple. Our knowledgeable tour guide will provide commentary, helping you to learn more about the area. Sun Moon Lake is renowned for its natural beauty and rich indigenous culture, making it a top-rated tourist destination in Taiwan.

Sun Moon Lake – Kaohsiung


Today we will continue with a pleasant walk around the unique Xiangshan Visitor Center, featuring a massive canopy structure providing stunning views of Sun Moon Lake. Next, you will depart for Kaohsiung, the most populated city in South Taiwan and a romantic harbor city. Your first stop will be the Fo Guang Shan, a large Buddhist monastery with an enormous gold-colored statue of Buddha Amitabha, the tallest bronze sitting Buddha statue in the world. You can gain insights into the doctrines and development of Buddhism, the most widely practiced religion in Taiwan, and try tasty vegetarian meals at the monastery’s restaurants. Afterward, you can head down the hill to the center of Kaohsiung City, where you can experience the oldest and most typical night market, Liuhe Tourist Night Market, and savor local delicacies like seafood congee, steamed salted shrimps, papaya milk drink, and stinky tofu. You will stay overnight at a centrally located 5-star hotel with a department store, convenient stores, and drug store nearby, giving you the opportunity to stock up on any additional supplies needed for your entire fun tour!

Kaohsiung – Kenting – Taitung


After breakfast, on the third day of your Taiwan-round island tour, you will travel to the south to Kenting National Park, which is known for its coastal geology and marine biodiversity. You will visit several unique natural rock formations such as Maopitou, Chuanfan Rock, and Eluanpi Lighthouse, as well as Longpan Park.

Afterward, you will continue your journey to Taitung via the scenic South Link Highway and stay in a 5-star hot spring resort in Chihpen, famous for its carbonate hot spring water that helps improve blood circulation and relieve fatigue best to end the day of the tour.

Taitung – East Coast – Hualien


After breakfast, today we gonna continues along the east coast, famous for its natural scenery. Stops include Xiaoyehliu, Sanxientai, Shitiping, and Fanshuliao, each with unique geological features. Xiaoyehliu has natural rock formations similar to those in Yehliu Geopark, and Sanxientai is an offshore island connected to the mainland by a bridge. Shipping is a well-developed sea erosion terrace and is considered a world-class geology classroom.

Before visiting a marble factory in Hualien, Fanshuliao, a unique canyon, will be explored to the world-famous Taroko Gorge.

By end of the day, you will enjoy a relaxing night stay at a luxurious 5-star resort hotel.

Hualien – Taroko – Taipei


Today you will visit Taroko National Park, which is located in the eastern part of Taiwan and features high mountains, sheer gorges, and marble cliffs that can soar up to 1,100 meters high. During the tour, you will visit popular attractions such as Shakadang Trail, Swallow Grotto Trail, Cimu Bridge, and Eternal Spring Shrine. After lunch, you will take a break at Tianxiang and enjoy the picturesque scenery of the area.

After will be heading to Qingshui Cliff, one of the “Eight Wonders” in Taiwan, before heading back to Taipei in the evening.

Taipei – Yehliu – Jiufen – Pingxi


Today we will be visiting Taiwan’s north and northeast coasts. Yehliu Geopark is known for its unique rock formations caused by wind and sea erosion, including the famous “Queen’s Head.”

After that, we will visit Jiufen, a historic hillside village that was once a gold mining hub and is now a popular tourist destination. Here, you can enjoy the scenery, sample local foods, and must try the traditional dessert, Taro Ball.

Next, we will visit the Shifen Waterfall, known as the “Little Niagara Falls” of Taiwan, and then head to Shifen Station, which is a reminder of Taiwan’s history. You can buy souvenirs, enjoy local food, and participate in the traditional sky lantern-releasing ceremony.

Passport Validity

Customers are required to provide valid passport details either at the time of purchase or at least 6 months’ validity for use on arrival to the foreign country. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking. In this instance, customers will be responsible for any costs and fees incurred.

Luggage

All the packages are inclusive of 23kg Check-in luggage / Hand luggage 7 kg. You will be responsible for all your personal belongings whilst on the tour. With regards to luggage, you must carry your own luggage from the coach to the hotel room and back to the coach. The driver will assist with the uploading and offloading of the luggage from the coach.
