Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Taipei

Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), transfer to your hotel by car or van (without a guide) and enjoy the rest of the day exploring Taipei at your own pace. You may use a One-Day Taipei Metro Pass for unlimited MRT rides to explore various attractions.

Day 2: Taipei City Tour

Visit the world-renowned National Palace Museum, followed by Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall with its iconic Guard Change ceremony. Continue to Lungshan Temple and end the day with views from the Taipei 101 skyscraper.

Day 3: Taipei to Taroko Gorge

Pickup by English-speaking guide and transfer to Taroko Gorge via the 12.9 km Hsuehshan Tunnel and east coast highway, with a stop at Chinshui Cliff. Explore Taroko Gorge Gateway, with Swallow Grotto and Eternal Spring Shrine as pass-by points due to recent earthquake damage.

Day 4: Taroko to Sun Moon Lake via Mountain Road

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Central Cross-Island Highway and Wuling on Mt. Hehuan (3275m) to reach Sun Moon Lake. Visit Wen-wu Temple and enjoy the tranquil lakeside scenery.

Day 5: Sun Moon Lake to Tainan

Explore lakeside gems like the Holy Monk Shrine, Ita Thao village, and Tse En Pagoda. Travel to Tainan for a walking tour around Anping Fort and its historic old streets.

Day 6: Tainan to Kaohsiung

Visit Chikan Tower and the historic Confucius Temple in Tainan. Head to Kaohsiung to explore Foguanshan Monastery and enjoy a vegetarian lunch. Arrive in Kaohsiung by evening for free leisure or a visit to Liuho Night Market.

Day 7: Kaohsiung to Lukang to Taipei

Day 8: Jiufen, Jinguashi & Pingxi Day Trip

Passport Validity

Customers are required to provide valid passport details either at the time of purchase or at least 6 months’ validity for use on arrival to the foreign country. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking. In this instance, customers will be responsible for any costs and fees incurred.

Luggage

All the packages are inclusive of 23kg Check-in luggage / Hand luggage 7 kg. You will be responsible for all your personal belongings whilst on the tour. With regards to luggage, you must carry your own luggage from the coach to the hotel room and back to the coach. The driver will assist with the uploading and offloading of the luggage from the coach.
