Day 2: Taipei – Sun Moon Lake
Visit the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area in central Taiwan, renowned for its natural beauty and indigenous culture. Enjoy a guided tour of the lake, including Ita Thao indigenous village, Ci’en Pagoda, Xuanzang Temple, and Wenwu Temple.

Day 3: Sun Moon Lake – Tainan – Kaohsiung
Explore Fort Zeelandia and Anping Old Street in Tainan, sampling local delicacies. Travel to Kaohsiung to visit the Fo Guang Shan Monastery and its iconic Great Buddha Land.

Day 4: Kaohsiung – Kenting – Taitung

Day 5: Taitung – East Coast – Yilan
Journey along Taiwan’s stunning east coast, visiting Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai, Shitiping, and Fanshuliao, known for their unique geological formations.

Day 6: Yilan – Taipei
Tour the King Car Kavalan Whisky Distillery and the National Center for Traditional Arts, showcasing Taiwan’s cultural heritage through performances and workshops.

Day 7: Taipei – Yehliu – Jiufen – Pingxi
Visit Yehliu Geopark, Jiufen, and Shifen Station, concluding with the sky lantern-releasing ceremony. Explore Shifen Waterfall, known as “Little Niagara Falls.”
After that, we will visit Jiufen, a historic hillside village that was once a gold mining hub and is now a popular tourist destination. Here, you can enjoy the scenery, sample local foods, and must try the traditional dessert, Taro Ball.
Next, we will visit the Shifen Waterfall, known as the “Little Niagara Falls” of Taiwan, and then head to Shifen Station, which is a reminder of Taiwan’s history. You can buy souvenirs, enjoy local food, and participate in the traditional sky lantern-releasing ceremony.

Day 8: Taipei
Today you will visit the world-renowned National Palace Museum, which houses the largest collection of ancient Chinese artifacts in the world, with exquisite art pieces that will amaze you. You will also visit the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, a prominent monument symbolizing a significant period in Taiwan’s history.
Witness the Guard Change at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Lungshan Temple, representing local religious beliefs and practices; and the famous skyscraper, Taipei 101, showcasing the city’s modern technology and globalization. The tour reveals the past, present, and future of Taipei City, you will learn more about each attraction you visit during the tour and discover the city from a unique perspective.
