Day 1 : Arrive in Nairobi

Our representative will pick you up at the airport and transfer to hotel. Check-in hotel and have a rest. Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, is known as the “”Little Paris of East Africa””.

Day 2 : Nairobi – Amboseli (4.5 hours drive)

After breakfast , your journey to Amboseli National Park begins. Amboseli is located to the south of Nairobi and is known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro,

which is the highest mountain in Africa.

Upon arrival at Amboseli National Park, you’ll check in at your accommodation and enjoy a delicious lunch. After that, it’s time for an afternoon game drive. The park is a great place to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, and more.

The park consists mainly of a dry, ancient lake bed and fragile grassland, with patches of acacia woodland scattered throughout. In the southern part of the park, you’ll find a number of small, rocky, volcanic hills. The swamps of Ol Kenya, Ol Tukai, and Enkongo Narok are surrounded by lush vegetation, including yellow-barked acacias and phoenix palms.

During your game drive, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the park’s breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife up close.

Day 3 : Amboseli

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit with packed lunch provided, an optional visit to a Masai village can be planned after breakfast. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience elephant at close range. Less unharassed by poachers, elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps must form the highlights of any Safari.

Day 4 : Amboseli – Naivasha (6 hours drive)

An early morning drive to Lake Naivasha, it is the highest and the most beautiful of the Rif Valley lakes. At 1910m (6200f), the water is fresh and the lake is fringed with dense clumps of papyrus (ancient Egyptian once used this to make paper). Kingfishers use the papyrus as a perch, herons hide in it while searching for food.

Naivasha is yet another area popular for bird watching (over 400species have been recorded). It is also a favourite weekend retreat for Nairobi residents, who come here to sail, water ski and fish. There are no crocodiles in the lake as the water is too cold for them, due to altitude but there are a number of hippos. Along the lakeshore, vineyards produce grapes for the country’s fledgeling wine industry.

Day 5 : Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha (2 hours drive each way)

The day starts with a nature cum bird walk in scenic settings at the lake shores. Take a bicycle and cycle to the nearby Hells gate national park where you explore on foot this canyon as you spot small game. Later a short 1 hour drive takes us to the lake Nakuru national park.

Day 6 : Navasha – Masai Mara (6 hours by car)

Depart early morning to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Mara holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators.

Day 7 : Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, we have a full day game drive, with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife and its one of the few places where it’s possible to see the big five during a morning’s game drive.

Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one’s vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.

Day 8 : Masai Mara – Great Rift Valley – Nairobi (6 hours by car/1 hour by plane)

Travel to Masai Mara again in the morning, and then drive back to Nairobi (you can also choose an inland plane at your own expense, and fly for 1 hour). On the way, you will visit the Kenyan section of the Great Rift Valley of East Africa. After arriving in Nairobi, check in to the hotel for a rest.

Day 9 : Nairobi – Home

After breakfast our staff will transfer you to the airport where your journey will end with the basket full of sweetest memories to share with others back home.
