Day 3 – April 5, 2026: Pilanesberg National Park Safari
Begin your safari adventure with a transfer from Johannesburg to a secluded lodge within the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park—nestled in an ancient volcanic crater and teeming with diverse wildlife and over 300 bird species—where, upon arrival, you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive arranged by the lodge, offering your first chance to spot Africa’s iconic Big Five, followed by a three-night stay filled with daily bush walks and game drives led by expert rangers and trackers, ensuring an immersive and unforgettable African wilderness experience.

Day 6 – April 8, 2026: Victoria Falls & Zambezi River Safari
Today, you will be transferred to the airport and fly to Zambia, arriving in historic Livingstone, located near the iconic Victoria Falls—one of the world’s biggest waterfalls. Upon arrival at Livingstone Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. Later in the afternoon, around 4:00 PM, you will embark on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River aboard the Lady Livingstone or another available luxury vessel. During your two-night stay, you’ll also take a guided walking tour around the majestic Victoria Falls, witnessing the tumbling cascades crashing over cliffs and plunging into whirlpools below, while admiring the wildlife and stunning sunset along the river.

Day 7 – April 9, 2026: Victoria Falls & Zambezi River Safari
This morning at 08:00 AM, you will be picked up for a guided visit to the Victoria Falls on the Zambian side. Mid-morning, continue across the border into Zimbabwe for another guided tour, where you’ll witness the falls from a different and equally breathtaking perspective. After the tour, return to your hotel around 1:00 PM. The afternoon is free for leisure. Continue your journey of discovery along the mighty Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River Safari experience, immersing yourself in the natural beauty and majesty of this iconic region.

Day 8 – April 10, 2026: Cape Town
Today, you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport to catch your flight to Cape Town, South Africa. Upon arrival in Cape Town, transfer to your hotel for a three-night stay. During your time in Cape Town, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the city’s remarkable natural and cultural treasures.

Day 9 – April 11, 2026: Cape Peninsula Tour
Today, you will be picked up at around 08:20 AM for a full-day Cape Peninsula tour, returning around 6:00 PM. Experience the breathtaking 114 curves along the 9-kilometre Chapman’s Peak Drive—one of the world’s most scenic coastal routes. Pause at designated picnic spots to admire and photograph the dramatic views of rugged cliffs, pristine beaches, and the Atlantic Ocean, with chances to spot whales and dolphins along the way. Continue to Cape Point, where you’ll witness the towering rock cliffs and historic lighthouse, and encounter over 250 species of birdlife, as well as baboons, antelope, and the rare Cape Mountain Zebra. Explore the iconic Cape of Good Hope, the most south-western point of the African continent. Later, visit the renowned Jackass penguin colony at Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town, one of the few places in the world where you can observe these endangered birds up close.

Day 10 – April 12, 2026: Cape Town City & Township Evening Tour
You will be picked up at around 08:20 AM for a guided Cape Town City Tour, concluding around 12:00 PM. This immersive tour showcases some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the historic Castle of Good Hope, the vibrant and colourful Bo Kaap district, the lively Green Market Square, the South African Museum, and the tranquil Company Gardens, among many others. Accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable guide, and travelling in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, you’ll gain valuable insight into the history, culture, and architecture of Cape Town’s Central Business District. After the tour, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel for a short rest.

Later in the afternoon, you will be picked up at around 18:30 for a Township Tour, returning around 22:00. This essential experience offers a deeper understanding of Cape Town’s vibrant and resilient communities. You will visit Langa, one of the city’s oldest and most dynamic townships, where you’ll gain an authentic perspective on daily life. The tour includes sampling local delicacies, witnessing traditional dancing, visiting local healers and shebeens (informal pubs), and engaging directly with residents. Arrive at 6:00 AM, depart at 6:00 PM. Located where the Namib Desert meets the Atlantic, Walvis Bay is Namibia’s only natural deep-water port and a historic maritime refuge. Walvis Bay, Namibia, lies on the Atlantic coast where the desert dramatically meets the sea, and has long been a haven for sea vessels because of its natural deepwater harbour protected by the Pelican Point sand spit. This is the only harbour along the 1350km Namibian coast, hence important historically to vessels rounding the Cape of Good Hope, discovered in 1485. Variously coming under British, German and South African control, The Republic of Namibia became independent in 1990, and Walvis Bay came under its control in 1994.

Recommended: Climb to the top of Mamelles Lighthouse (built in 1864) for panoramic city views. Dakar, the western-most city on the African mainland, is a very French capital and the largest city of Senegal. A feverish city that brims with life, together with its beautiful tree-lined boulevards, results in it having the most European atmosphere of any city on the continent. To get an excellent view of the city visit Les Mamelles Lighthouse that was built in 1864 and located on a small volcanic hill.

The port is of great importance and is the communications hub between Europe, Africa, and the Americas, with cruise ships arriving from many nations. Not surprisingly, the city has a real cosmopolitan mix due to immigrants from Latin America, Africa and Western Europe.
