Day 1: Arriving Tokyo

Our pick-up services are available throughout the day at both Narita and Haneda airports. To ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel, please provide us with your flight number prior to the tour. Please note that there may be some wait time if we are picking up other guests with flights scheduled around the same time as yours. Our friendly guide will be waiting for you at the airport to assist you with the transfer to your hotel. Please be aware that hotel check-in is available after 3 p.m., and you will need to present your passport upon arrival.

Day 2: Tokyo Sightseeing – Mount Fuji

After breakfast, we will provide transportation to the Imperial Palace, the official residence of the royal family in Tokyo. You will have the opportunity to explore the Imperial Palace Out Gardens, which offer a stunning view of the famous Nijubashi Bridge. Afterward, we will proceed to the Senso-ji Buddhist Temple located in the historic Asakusa district. Along the way, you can explore Nakamise-Dori Street, which is lined with traditional shops selling souvenirs and snacks. We will then view the Tokyo Skytree, the world’s tallest standing tower, from a distance. Finally, we will transfer to a hot spring hotel near the Mt. Fuji area where you can relax and enjoy Japanese-style hot springs and cuisine.

Day 3: Mount Fuji – Nagoya

After breakfast, we will travel to the foothills of Mt. Fuji to visit the 5th Station and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. In case of inclement weather, we will instead visit the Mount Fuji World Heritage Center. Our next stop will be Oshino Hakkai, a historic natural attraction featuring eight ponds that are the remnants of a sixth lake that dried up centuries ago. We will then proceed to Bussharito Heiwa Park before transferring to Nagoya to explore the famous Osu Shopping District. Dinner will be at your own discretion.

Day 4: Nagoya – Kyoto

After breakfast, we will visit Nagoya Castle, which played a significant role in Japanese history as the center of a crucial castle town. Next, we will travel to Kyoto to visit the Kiyomizu-Dera Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site established in 778 AD, and take a stroll along Ninenzaka and Sannezaka Streets. Our next stop will be Gion, Kyoto’s most famous geisha district, which is home to numerous shops, restaurants, and teahouses. We will then visit Yasaka Shrine, a bustling site where people come to seek blessings and good fortune. Finally, we will take a walk along Hanamachi Street, Japan’s most stylish geisha district from the Edo period. Dinner will be at your own discretion.

Day 5: Kyoto – Nara – Osaka

Following breakfast, we will head to Fushimi-Inari Taisha, an essential Shinto shrine situated in southern Kyoto.

We will then proceed to Nara Deer Park, where you can enjoy interacting with the hundreds of deer who inhabit the area. After that, we will visit Kasuga Taisha Shrine, which offers a stunning view. Our next stop will be Shinsaibashi in Osaka, where you can shop to your heart’s content. Dotonbori, which boasts theaters, restaurants, bars, cafes, and nightclubs, is also in close proximity, and you can enjoy your leisure time there.

Day 6: Osaka- Kurashiki
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Kurashiki to visit one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan, Okayama Korakuen. This garden is a cultural heritage site that the world treasures for its breathtaking beauty and design. Afterward, we will take you to the Ohashi House, a nationally important cultural property in Kurashiki-city that showcases the typical old-style architecture of the area. Next, you can enjoy your time in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Area, famous for its characteristically Japanese white walls of residences and the beautiful willow trees lining the banks of the Kurashiki River. Dinner will be on your own arrangement for the evening.

Day 7: Kurashiki-Hiroshima
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Hiroshima to visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and Atomic Bomb Dome, which serves as a solemn reminder of one of the darkest moments in Japanese history. The museum and dome aim to promote peace and prevent similar tragedies from happening again.

Later, we will take a boat to Miyajima, one of the top three scenic spots in Japan. There, you can visit the Itsukushima Shinto Shrine, a Floating Shrine on the Sea with over 1400 years of history. The shrine’s beauty and elegance, surrounded by the blue sea and green forest, recreate the atmosphere of the Heian era. Lunch and dinner is on your own arrangement.

Day 8: Hiroshima-Himeji
After enjoying breakfast, you will transfer to Himeji to visit the magnificent Himeji Castle, which is commonly referred to as the White Heron Castle due to its stunning white exterior. It is often considered as the most impressive castle in Japan. Next to the castle is the Kokoen, a Japanese garden consisting of nine separate walled gardens designed in various styles that reflect Edo-period architecture. Lunch and dinner is on your own arrangement.

Day 9: Himeji-Kobe-Osaka
After a morning transfer to Kobe, you will visit the city’s port, which has been an important industrial and commercial center since the Meiji era. The area was also home to many foreign residents, giving it a unique and exotic atmosphere. Take a stroll through Chinatown, a bustling district full of shops and restaurants that is a popular tourist attraction. Afterward, transfer to Osaka, where you are free to arrange your own lunch and dinner plans.

Enjoy a free day at leisure in Osaka.
