Daintree Wilderness and Cape Tribulation Beach 

 

Travel to Port Douglas via the Captain Cook Highway, one of Australia’s most scenic coastal drives. Arrive at Wildlife Habitat to see the endangered cassowary and other wildlife, also with the opportunity to have your photo taken holding a koala, snake or crocodile (extra cost). Next stop, heading inland passing sugar cane fields towards Daintree National Park, Experience crossing the Daintree River on the cable-driven ferry. Travel along the rainforest-fringed Cape Tribulation Road through Daintree National Park, a magnificent wilderness region.  Arrive at Cape Trib Beach House for a Tropical Lunch. Followed by free time for a swim in the resort pool, or a walk along the spectacular Cape Tribulation Beach.  Depart Cape Trib Beach House and visit Cape Tribulation Beach and Boardwalk for a guided rainforest walk with great photo opportunities. Stop at Alexandra Lookout for magnificent views.

Depart north side of river for the Daintree River Cruise. Search for crocodiles, birds and other wildlife as you journey through the mangroves.
