Embark on an adventure to Mt. Field, one of Tasmania’s oldest National Parks, located just a short 1.5-hour drive from Hobart. Discover the park’s diverse landscapes and captivating walks, renowned for the famous Russell Falls and Tall Trees track.

We begin our journey with a visit to Russell Falls, Tasmania’s most iconic waterfall. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding forest as you stroll along a picturesque track, surrounded by a mix of forest and temperate rainforest species. Capture breathtaking photographs of the three-tiered drop of Russell Falls, a sight that has mesmerized countless visitors.

Continuing our exploration, we ascend the stairs to Horseshoe Falls, a majestic waterfall nestled within the forest. Some even consider it more impressive than Russell Falls! As we follow the Three Falls Circuit, we enter the Tall Trees Track section, where towering Swamp Gums, reaching up to 80 meters in height, loom above us. For the adventurous and energetic, there’s an option to complete the full 6-kilometer circuit, including a visit to Lady Barron Falls. Alternatively, those seeking a more relaxed experience can return to our starting point.

Our next stop is Bonorong Wildlife Park, a sanctuary for rescued and cherished wildlife. Get up close with Tasmanian Devils and spot freely hopping wallabies, along with many other beloved local species.
