DAY 3 Board the Proud Mary

Relax and take your time today as you prepare for an unforgettable evening transfer to Murray Bridge, where your river adventure aboard the Proud Mary begins. After settling into your charming river view cabin, join the crew for a delightful dinner, introduced by the Captain himself. DAY 4 Cruise to Teal Flat

As the journey unfolds from Woodlane, brace yourself for a picturesque upriver adventure that reveals the breathtaking beauty of the Murray River system. The banks are adorned with willow trees, planted by riverboat captains in the early 1900s to guide them through the expansive lagoons. While cruising toward Mannum, fuel your day with a choice of a light continental breakfast or a hearty cooked meal. Upon reaching Mannum, take a leisurely stroll through this historic township or enjoy a coffee while gazing at the majestic Murray River.

Continuing from Mannum, the upstream journey through Younghusband to Teal Flat is accompanied by a delectable lunch, thoughtfully prepared by your onboard chefs. This morning, enjoy a serene cruise downstream to Mannum as you savor a delightful breakfast, allowing you to take in the beauty of this remarkable stretch of the Murray. As you glide along, you’ll pass the charming townships of Younghusband, Pellaring Flat, and Cowirra. Upon reaching Mannum, board the waiting coach for an insightful tour of this historic riverside town. Discover the stunning natural beauty, rich history, and proud riverboat heritage that define this delightful Murray River settlement.
