DAY 4 Board the Murray Princess and Cruise to Caurnamont

This afternoon, get ready for a scenic ride aboard a luxury coach to Mannum, where your 5-day Murray Princess Outback Heritage Cruise awaits. A warm welcome will greet you as you step aboard the P.S. Murray Princess.

As you embark on your journey north towards Caurnamont, indulge in a delightful dinner while keeping a lookout for nocturnal wildlife along the riverbanks. Spot kangaroos, hairy-nosed wombats, and tortoises as the onboard entertainer enhances the evening’s atmosphere. Your night culminates at the charming mooring at Caurnamont, softly illuminated by floodlights.

DAY 5 Cruise from Caurnamont to Blanchetown

Awaken to the breathtaking views of the Murray River as dawn breaks, and keep your eyes peeled for vibrant birdlife, including swans, pelicans, and wrens. Enjoy a leisurely morning of cruising northward towards Blanchetown, navigating through one of the 13 locks that manage the river’s flow and water levels.

DAY 7 Cruise from Sunnydale to Younghusband

This morning, embrace nature’s tranquility with an early bush walk led by the Captain, or opt for an optional Bush Tucker experience.

Your journey then takes you to Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park, a site of tremendous archaeological importance and home to the Nganguraku people for over 5,000 years. Join a guided tour along the boardwalk, where you can admire ancient rock carvings and delve into the rich Aboriginal heritage of the area.

Afterward, return to the P.S. Murray Princess and continue your scenic cruise south, taking in the awe-inspiring views of the stunning cliffs carved by the river over millennia.

DAY 8 Cruise to Mannum & Fly Home
