Welcome to Cairns

Feel the warmth of Tropical North Queensland, as you arrive smell the sweet scent of the wet tropics and see expansive mangroves on your way into Cairns. You will be personally met at the airport by our representative and transferred from the airport to your hotel. You can relax and use the rest of the day to explore your hotel and its facilities, perhaps taking a stroll around the neighborhood and central Cairns.

Cairns Coach Tour & Special Sunset Dinner Cruise

The tropical paradise of Cairns is set on the azure waters of the Coral Sea. It is the gateway to tropical north Queensland, where the ancient rainforest meets the world’s biggest coral reef. Cairns is a laid-back welcoming city with an abundance of vibrancy, tropical gardens, brilliant cafés, bustling markets, and mangrove parkland. Today enjoy our guided tour of the Cairns region. Your friendly driver will pick you up from your hotel before introducing you to this captivating small city. Visit St. Monica’s Cathedral (featuring the world’s largest themed stained-glass windows).

Explore Cairns Museum and join our exclusive guided walking tour to see highlights of the region’s past. After enjoying afternoon tea of scones and jam, a truly local delight, join our guided walk at the Botanical Gardens. We then journey to some of the best nearby scenic lookouts, including beautiful Barron Falls and spectacular Palm Cove, returning to Cairns in time to join our Special Sunset Dinner Cruise.

Set sail on spectacular Trinity Inlet and its winding tributaries for a relaxing 2.5-hour Special Sunset Dinner Cruise. Enjoy a delicious 3 course hot and cold buffet dinner with live entertainment by some of Cairns’ best local musicians as you pass along Cairns waterfront and Esplanade precinct, delivering panoramic views of the twinkling night lights of this harbor city. Trinity Inlet is a magnificent tidal estuary with waterways winding through a 300-square-kilometer maze of mangroves with richly diverse wildlife and stunning scenery. The amazing day comes to an end as you make your own way back to your central hotel.

Kuranda Scenic Railway – Rainforest Tour – Skyrail Cableway

The tropical village of Kuranda, nestled in the lush Wet Tropics Rainforest, is known for its bohemian charm, vibrant markets, cafes, galleries, shops, and butterfly sanctuary. Surrounding it is the Barron Gorge National Park, showcasing ancient rainforest, the Barron River, and a breathtaking waterfall. Your friendly driver will pick you up in a comfortable air-conditioned coach and provide informative commentary throughout the day. You’ll journey to Kuranda on the historic Scenic Railway, passing through rainforests, ravines, and waterfalls. An amphibious duck takes you on an up-close tour of the rainforest and river system, and you’ll have time to explore Kuranda. The famous Kuranda Scenic Railway, constructed in 1882, is an engineering marvel with handmade tunnels and bridges. It ascends from sea level to 328m, passing through rainforests, Barron Gorge National Park, Barron River, and Stoney Creek. In Kuranda, you can explore the ancient rainforest aboard an Army Duck, where you’ll encounter fascinating flora and fauna. A visit to a tropical fruit orchard introduces you to a variety of tropical fruits. You can also enjoy leisure time in the forest village, visit cafes, and shop for local arts and crafts.

The journey back involves a Skyrail Rainforest Cableway gondola ride with breathtaking views. It passes over Barron Gorge National Park and offers a glimpse of the Great Barrier Reef. Along the way, you can alight at rainforest mid-stations to explore and learn more about the rainforest’s unique features. As your coach returns you to your hotel, you’ll carry with you cherished memories of a day filled with exploration and natural beauty in the heart of tropical North Queensland.

Outer Barrier Moore Reef Cruise

With a range of included activities and exclusive use of our custom-designed floating pontoon, all ages and abilities can explore and enjoy the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. With clear water, colorful coral, abundant fish life, and friendly resident turtles and Maori wrasse, Moore Reef is the ultimate destination to experience all that the outer reef has to offer. Swimmers of all abilities can snorkel in the natural lagoon or stay dry with our semi-submersible and glass-bottom boat tours. You can also visit our underwater observatory to discover the world’s most impressive natural fish tank and get up close and personal with marine life in our touch tank presentations. Young kids can have fun in our enclosed ocean pool or swirl down Sunlover’s 30-meter spiraling waterslide into the tropical ocean.  A trained lifeguard is always on watch from an elevated lifeguard station, and there’s easy entry to the water from two snorkel platforms, both of which are accessible by stairs.

Heading to Port Douglas

Port Douglas; washed by the warm Coral Sea fresh from the Great Barrier Reef as calls the adventurer to discover snorkel and dive sites and the wonders of the underwater world. Cradled in lush vegetation and kissed by the amazing Daintree National Park, the township is pure nirvana; indulge in elegant spas, excellent cafes and restaurants, Aussie pubs, sophisticated galleries, chic boutiques of Macrossan Street, drink coconut milk fresh from the palm at the Port Douglas Sunday markets, hit a ball on world-class golf courses or climb Flagstaff Lookout to take in the amazing ocean vista beyond the golden sands of Four Mile Beach.

Today you will be personally met by our representative and transferred from your Cairns hotel to the resort town of Port Douglas where you will spend the next 3 days.

Daintree & Cape Tribulation Tour

Where the rainforest meets the reef’, Cape Tribulation is renowned for its scenic landscape, remote beaches, and the world heritage rainforest of Daintree National Park. Be guided through this pristine rainforest and discover its incredible diversity, experiencing all its natural wonders. Journey through the ancient rainforest at Mossman Gorge along private, gentle tracks, visiting culturally significant sites and trailing over meandering cool rainforest streams. Passport Validity

Customers are required to provide valid passport details either at the time of purchase or at least 6 months’ validity for use on arrival to the foreign country. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking. In this instance, customers will be responsible for any costs and fees incurred.

Luggage

All the packages are inclusive of 23kg Check-in luggage / Hand luggage 7 kg. You will be responsible for all your personal belongings whilst on the tour. With regards to luggage, you must carry your own luggage from the coach to the hotel room and back to the coach. The driver will assist with the uploading and offloading of the luggage from the coach.
